The “Denaakk’e Dedeenee” series is part of a year-long program of Native language activities co-organized by the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, Doyon Foundation, the Alaska Native Language Center at UAF, Denakkanaaga, and Tanana Chiefs Conference Cultural Programs. This programming is associated with UNESCO’s International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019, and contributes to the implementation of the broader goal of the International Year of promoting, revitalizing and preserving indigenous languages.
