Language Journeys: Bertina “Dedo’delu” Titus on Benhti Kenaga’

Special guest Bertina “Dedo’delu” Titus shared her memories of learning phrases of her language, Benhti Kenaga’, growing up in Minto. Bertina is a language learner who’s teaching her children and learning at the same time. She has passion to make sure the younger generations can grow up knowing and being proud of their language. Bertina hopes to learn through immersion and help others learn Benhti Kenaga’ through similar methods. The connection to identity and spirituality through language is powerful and helps her carry on her grandparents message.
