We are open seven days a week, year-round, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

In 2020 our “Summer hours” run May 9- September 20 and our doors will be open from 8am to 9pm.  During “Winter hours” we are open from 8am to 5pm.  We will post our 2021 season dates as soon as we have them.

Look at our daily schedule to see what films and special events are available during your visit. You may want to leave an hour or more outside of those planned activities to peruse our exhibits and special displays, talk with our staff, go shopping, or learn how to make your own traditional beaded jewelry.

If you love our center as much as we hope you do and would like to support it, you can give a gift through this website or at our donation box in the lobby. Our supporters help make possible this world-class place where all are welcome to discover the amazing natural and cultural heritage of Interior Alaska.
