Language Journeys: Dewey Kk’ołeyo Hoffman on Denaakk’e Dedeenee

Special guest Dewey Kk’ołeyo Hoffman shared some of the memories and experiences that have shaped his language learning journey with Alaska Native language Denaakk’e Dedeenee, and how he supports and encourages others in their learning. Dewey works on many projects to promote Native languages like Molly of Denali and community language groups for Denaakk’e Dedeenee. At the end of the discussion, Dewey shared a language lesson that imparts an important message about language learning and community.
