If you are looking for fun things to do in Fairbanks, Alaska you found the right place! Look at our daily schedule to see what fun Alaskan activities will be available during your visit. Enjoy the exhibits in our museum about Alaska, talk with visitor center staff to find out what to do in Fairbanks and the surrounding area, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy our beautiful historic garden (from June to September) walking in the snow (the rest of the year) and a year-round Instagram-worthy photo opportunity at the famous antler arch web cam.

Admission and day time parking are free at the Morris Thompson Center. The Fairbanks Shuttle provides service for a small fee from certain local hotels to the Morris Thompson Center during the summer: ask your concierge for details. Click here for information about accessibility.

We are open Monday through Saturday year-round, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

If you love our center as much as we hope you do and would like to support it, please consider making a donation through this website or at the donation box in our lobby.
