Admission is always FREE at MTCVC

Open Monday – Saturday year-round except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Visitors Center: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Exhibits: Daily, 08:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Admission to the Morris Thompson Center is always free, as is daytime parking (no overnight parking is permitted). If you prefer not to drive, the Fairbanks Shuttle provides service for a small fee from certain local hotels to the Morris Thompson Center during the summer: ask your concierge for details. We are open Monday through Saturday year-round, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. 

Look at our daily schedule to see what special events are available during your visit. Please note that general access to our exhibits is from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily. Reservations for groups are available daily at 8:00 a.m. (one group per day). You can also enjoy special displays, talk with our staff, go shopping, or enjoy our beautiful historic garden outside.
